In our online store personal items such as credit cards are secured by the application of the customers three digit security code which is located on the credit card. Without the security code a customer cannot complete a transaction through the About Magazine website.
If a customer has any late fees connected to the online store, they will be sent a notification in the My Account section and a notification via email. If required, About Magazine may lock the account [occasionally a customers account may be locked due to other account complications] until the order has been processed.
Although AboutMagazine.ca has the ability to view online account purchases, no personal information will be removed or disclosed from the account.
Visitors outside of Canada
The servers that make our website accessible worldwide are based in Canada, it is for this reason that all matters regarding our site and its policies are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
